Recent CBO Report on the Economy

In its baseline, CBO projects that the 2012 federal budget deficit will be about $1.1 trillion, and that the economy will continue its sluggish recovery, with unemployment remaining above 8 percent both this year and next.

It’s Not Yours to Give

One day in the House of Representatives, a bill was taken up appropriating money for the benefit of a widow of a distinguished naval officer. Several beautiful speeches had been made in its support. The Speaker was just about to put the question when Crockett arose: We have the right, as individuals, to give away as much of our own money as we please in charity; but as members of Congress we have no right so to appropriate a dollar of the public money.

America Welcomes Socialsim

The youth are being taught that Socialism/Communism/Marxism is a better form of government than we have now in America. They are told that Capitalism is evil and all about greed, that the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, and that Socialism/Communism is a better form of government because there is no rich or poor and no greed.

Our Nation is in Trouble! Thus the Flat at Half Mast. Someone, please tell me what the HELL's wrong with all the people that run this country!!!!!! Both Republicans & Democrats. We're "broke" & can't help our own Seniors, Veterans, Orphans, Homeless etc.,???????????

Teachers and Doctors Commit Fraud

It is stuff like this that make people hate unions. There is so much pressure put on workers to support their union that they really don't have a choice but to go along with them...forget about standing by their convictions.
